I built my career at the intersection of two things most people assume don't go together: deep industry expertise and genuine care for the person on the other end of the decision.
For over a decade I worked inside major health plans and benefits technology companies — building products, managing multi-million dollar portfolios, and leading the kind of cross-functional work that determines what ends up on your insurance card and how it functions when you actually need it.
That experience gave me something most advisors don't have: I know how these products are built, not just how they're sold.
The most meaningful moments in my corporate career weren't the product launches or the portfolio milestones. They were the moments when I could help someone actually understand what they were looking at — cut through the complexity and make a decision with real confidence.
I started Hollander Strategic because I wanted to build a practice where that was the whole job.
Not just for individuals navigating Medicare or marketplace coverage — though that work is at the heart of what we do. But for small businesses trying to offer something meaningful to their teams, and for companies building the next generation of benefits products who need someone who understands the market from every angle.
The thread running through all of it is the same: the person using the benefit deserves to be at the center of every decision.
I'm based in Vancouver, WA — with deep roots in Connecticut, which is part of why I'm licensed there alongside Washington and Oregon. When I'm not working, you'll find me traveling the Pacific Northwest in our camper with my husband Josh and our two rescue dogs, Charlie and Jack Jack, cooking my way through cookbooks, or somewhere inside a fantasy novel.
