The Inside View

Most insurance agents come from sales backgrounds. I come from product development and strategic leadership.

Before becoming an agent, I spent a decade building and managing health insurance products for major companies.

I've been on both sides of the table - creating the plans and helping people choose them. I also saw something that bothered me: the disconnect between how products are built and how they're explained to the people who actually use them. That insider perspective makes all the difference when you need to understand what you're really buying and how to maximize your coverage.

The most rewarding part of my career wasn't creating the plans—it was the moments when I could help someone truly understand how they worked. I’ve watched too many people make decisions they didn't fully comprehend, miss benefits they qualified for, or feel overwhelmed by the complexity that seemed intentional.

Then in the spring of 2025 my own family was impacted by an unexpected loss, not only did this leave me with a profound understanding of the need for long-term health planning it left me wanting to make sure other families are never put in the same position- confused, scared, and not sure where to turn for help. I became an insurance advisor because I believe everyone deserves someone on their side. Someone who actually understands how these plans work from the inside out. Someone who can translate the jargon, spot the gaps, and help you make truly informed decisions.

Medicare, in particular, is confusing by design. So are ACA marketplace plans. And small business benefits packages. The system isn't built for clarity—it's built to sell the plans.

When I'm not helping clients navigate insurance, you might find me spending time with my husband Josh, and our two rescue dogs- Charlie & Jack Jack. We love to travel by air, car, and particularly around the Pacific Northwest in our camper. I'm an avid reader of just about anything- but I love fantasy and cookbooks that fuel my passion for cooking. While I make my home in Vancouver, WA I have deep roots in Connecticut and often visit my family there- that’s why I’m licensed across Washington, Oregon & Connecticut.
